MEN'S HEALTH
Testosterone is a key hormone for men, supporting energy, motivation, strength, mental clarity, and overall vitality. As men age, natural testosterone levels gradually decline, which can contribute to symptoms such as fatigue, brain fog, mood changes, reduced libido, erectile difficulties, decreased bone density, increased body fat, and loss of muscle mass.
At XLR8, we help identify hormone deficiencies and create personalized strategies to maintain your health and vitality. Early detection allows you to address changes before they further impact your daily life.
Lab testing is through Rupa Labs which includes lab facilities such as Quest, LabCorp & Access. Once your results are available, we’ll review them with you through a telemedicine consultation. Together, we’ll assess hormone levels and other key health markers to develop a customized plan designed to restore energy, support muscle and strength, and enhance overall well-being.
Schedule your initial consultation today and take the first step toward feeling your best.

XLR8 Hormone Health works with men experiencing symptoms associated with low testosterone, age-related hormonal changes, or other hormone imbalances. Our providers focus on individualized care, patient education, and safety throughout the evaluation and treatment process. We believe informed patients make better healthcare decisions, and we strive to ensure each patient understands their treatment options, potential benefits, and risks. Treatment recommendations are based on a provider's clinical assessment and each patient's unique health needs.
How It Works
-
Initial consultation – You meet with a healthcare provider to discuss your symptoms, medical history, and treatment goals.
-
Laboratory testing – If you choose to proceed, XLR8 orders blood tests to evaluate your hormone levels and other relevant health markers.
-
Lab review appointment – After the lab work is completed, a provider reviews the results with you in detail.
-
Personalized treatment plan – The provider & you work to develop a treatment plan based on your symptoms and laboratory findings.
-
Prescription (if appropriate) – If hormone replacement therapy is recommended, a prescription is sent to the pharmacy.
-
Ongoing monitoring – Follow-up blood work is used to monitor hormone levels and treatment effectiveness:
-
Routine lab testing is typically performed every 3 months.
-
If treatment is started or a dosage is changed, labs are repeated about 6 weeks later to assess the response and determine whether adjustments are needed.
-
Purpose of the Follow-Up Labs
Regular monitoring helps providers:
-
Ensure hormone levels remain in the target range.
-
Assess symptom improvement.
-
Identify potential side effects or safety concerns.
-
Adjust dosages when necessary.

Estrogen Management
Estrogen is an important hormone for men's health and plays a role in bone health, sexual function, and overall well-being. During testosterone therapy, some testosterone is naturally converted into estrogen.
If estrogen levels become elevated, dose adjustments or timing of injections will be made. If elevated level is accompanied with symptoms or other clinical findings, your provider may recommend anastrozole as part of an individualized treatment plan. Not all men on testosterone therapy need estrogen-lowering medication. Treatment decisions are based on your symptoms, medical history, and laboratory results.
Important: Anastrozole is FDA-approved for certain types of breast cancer. Its use for estrogen management in men receiving testosterone therapy is off-label and should only be used under the guidance of a qualified healthcare provider.
Price: Medication may be sent to local pharmacy
Compounding Pharmacy Price: Anastrozole 0.5mg-1mg (12 tabs: $45)
(supply duration may vary depending on patient dose)
Erectile dysfunction (ED) is the persistent inability to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for satisfactory sexual activity. It is a common condition that can affect men of all ages, although it becomes more common with increasing age. ED may be associated with a variety of factors, including underlying medical conditions, certain medications, lifestyle factors, psychological concerns, or hormonal changes. A comprehensive medical evaluation can help identify potential contributing factors and determine appropriate treatment options based on an individual's health needs.
PDE5 inhibitors
Prescription medications used in appropriate clinical contexts for erectile dysfunction management based on cardiovascular and medical evaluation.

For men concerned about fertility or testicular size while optimizing testosterone levels, XLR8 Hormone Health offers individualized treatment plans designed to support your reproductive health goals. In appropriate patients, medications such as hCG or enclomiphene may be considered to help support the body's natural testosterone production and maintain testicular function. Treatment recommendations are based on a comprehensive medical evaluation, laboratory testing, and each patient's unique health needs.
Important Disclaimer: While medications such as hCG and enclomiphene may be considered in appropriate patients to support testicular function or fertility goals, their use does not guarantee the preservation or restoration of fertility during or after testosterone therapy. Individual responses vary, and testosterone therapy may reduce sperm production, which can affect fertility. Patients who wish to preserve fertility should discuss their reproductive goals with their healthcare provider before starting treatment.

Sleep Apnea, Sleep Health & Hormones
Sleep quality plays an important role in overall health, including energy levels, mood, recovery, and hormone regulation. Changes in sleep patterns or certain sleep disorders, such as sleep apnea, may be associated with changes in overall wellness and may impact hormone-related symptoms.
XLR8 Hormone Health recognizes that sleep health is an important component of overall wellness. When appropriate, patients may be referred to Fantastic Sleep for further evaluation of possible sleep disorders as part of a comprehensive approach to health and hormone care.
Progesterone & Men’s Hormone Health
Progesterone is a naturally occurring hormone found in men and women. In men, progesterone plays a role in the body’s overall hormone balance and is involved in the production and regulation of other hormones.
During a comprehensive hormone evaluation, providers may review multiple hormone levels to better understand an individual’s health profile and symptoms. Progesterone therapy is not routinely required for men receiving testosterone therapy, but in certain clinical situations, a provider may consider additional hormone evaluation or treatment options based on symptoms, laboratory results, and overall health needs.
All treatment recommendations are individualized and made after a thorough medical assessment. Your provider will discuss the potential benefits, risks, and alternatives of any recommended therapy.

We offer sermorelin therapy as part of our individualized peptide therapy program when deemed medically appropriate by a qualified healthcare provider.
NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide):
NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is a vital coenzyme found in every living cell, playing a key role in energy production, cellular function, and repair. It helps transfer electrons during metabolism, allowing your body to convert the food you eat into usable cellular energy (ATP). NAD+ also supports enzymes involved in processes such as DNA repair, cellular maintenance, and healthy aging.
As we age, NAD+ levels naturally decline, which has made this essential molecule a growing area of interest in longevity and healthy-aging research. Please talk with provider to learn about NAD+ and see if it is medically appropriate for you.
Disclaimer: Sermorelin & NAD+ are not FDA-approved for the uses described by our clinic. If provided as a compounded medication, the compounded product is not FDA-approved and has not been reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality before marketing. Treatment is available only after appropriate medical evaluation and prescription. Individual results may vary, and treatment is not guaranteed to produce any particular outcome.
